At Leash Happy K9s it is our goal to provide fulfilling and purposeful walks for all dogs. We believe that structured leash walking gives a dog meaningful guidance. It provides physical challenge, mental stimulation, and ultimate happiness! With structured walking, your dog is actively participating in every step. Walking side by side with me and maybe a few other dogs. There will always be a designated time during structured walks to sniff, potty, and enjoy some freedom. Book with us today and give your dog an experience they will crave!
Leash Happy K9s offers Dog Boarding services while you travel. Your dog will be cared for in the comfort of my home. The property is fully fenced and your dog will be supervised when outside. Your dog will have free time in the house while I'm home however, I kindly ask that boarding dogs are fully crate trained. Dog kennels are great for safely traveling in cars and when I need to step out of the house to run an errand.

Hello, My name is Kiki Moore and I am passionate about the outdoors and dogs! I grew up in Lake Tahoe, California where I discovered my love for hiking, skiing, biking, and camping. My dedication to dogs came when I adopted a Labrador/Heeler mix puppy from the Humane Society. After struggling with loose leash walking and recall I began investing all my time into learning how to correct my errors. I moved to Central Oregon and eventually became an Assistant Dog Trainer.
In May of 2022 my husband, our dog Camper, and I moved to Anchorage. We are excited to adventure in the outdoors with Camper and hopefully your dog too!
Having spent years training and working with my dog , Camper, we mindfully and intentionally keep a structured routine. We walk in a "heel" position, we ask for calm behavior before certain activities in the house. We don't allow begging for food, jumping at people, dogs, or cars. We practice mind challenging games with Camper. After all his "work", he gets to be a dog; sniff, run, enjoy tasty dog meals and sleep peacefully after a long, busy day.
My biggest fear is handing my dog over to a care provider who is going to "undo" all I have worked so hard to achieve with Camper. Letting him pull them down the street, encouraging neurotic behavior, allowing him to do whatever he wants without earning it.
Structure and guidance are important for most dogs. I want to be the kind of care provider I would send Camper to if we travel.
Starting Leash Happy K9s is one way for me to get involved in the community and help dogs and their families feel wonderful about traveling.
Are you looking for a dog care professional who understands your dogs greatest needs? Are you passionate about the training and guidance you've provided your dog? Is it important to you that your dog is happy, fulfilled, respected, and tired at the end of the day? Do you want your dog to walk with purpose and still have fun?
Then look no further. You have found your dog care professional.
It is my belief that your dog should continue his/her normal routine even when you are gone. Whether I am walking your dog while you're at work, or when you are traveling, I want to maintain all the training and/or energy you have spent on your dog.
Even if you haven't spent years training your dog, I am here to help! Giving your dog the gift of a structured walk (a walk with focus, purpose, and reward) can be your first step in cultivating routine with your loved fur ball.
Leash Happy K9s will be the answer to keep your dog's butt wagging and feet prancing!
